Honeysuckle Cottage is situated in the picturesque hamlet of Beckhole, which nestles in a wooded valley in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. The National Park itself covers some 500 square miles and incorporates some of the most stunning countryside in the UK. An exploration of the area will unveil open moorland, hills, dales, forests, river valleys and waterfalls.
Beckhole is located just half a mile from Goathland, where the 'Heartbeat' television series is filmed and where the Harry Potter train sequences were shot. The hamlet comprises 9 cottages, 2 farms and the Birch Hall Inn, a charming pub, steeped in character, serving lunches and fine ales. Beckhole is also home to a quoits pitch where the ancient game is still played during the summer months.
Honeysuckle Cottage is everything a country cottage should be. It is situated in three-quarters of an acre of land which runs down to the river West Beck, and the surrounding moors and forest make a breathtaking backdrop to the cottage. The position offers both seclusion and easy access to the local pub - just a short stroll, or stagger, away.

Honeysuckle Cottage is the country retreat of the owners and has been carefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, with all the comforts of home.
There is a delightful stone-flagged open plan living area with an inglenook fireplace and log burning stove. There is also a television, a tape deck, several radios and lots of books and games.
The well-equipped kitchen provides an electric cooker with ceramic hob and extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, coffee maker and grinder, toaster and a good selection of pans, utensils and cooking dishes.
The entrance hall has plenty of space for coats, walking boots and wellies, and there is a downstairs shower room with washbasin and loo.
Upstairs there are two pretty bedrooms, one with a king sized double bed and one with twin beds. There is also an upstairs bathroom, built in the eaves, equipped with bath and shower, washbasin and loo.
Outside is a private and secluded garden with a stone flagged terrace, lawns, fruit trees, outdoor furniture and a stone built barbeque.
