The Old Coach House is a tastefully converted period coaching house with an unusual layout, situated just off the Main Street. With extensive views of surrounding Dale and Fells.
On the ground floor there is a twin bedded room, upstairs a spacious lounge and dining area with a colour T.V. The second bedroom has a double bed, and bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower. There is a balcony which enjoys sunshine most of the day with seating provided.
In the kitchen there is an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and iron with ironing board.
The cottage is heated by oil fired central heating, electricity and bedding are all included in the rent. Bring your own towels and tea towels.
One well-behaved clean pet is allowed.
A cot and hairdryer are available on request.
The owners live in adjoining property and are on hand to ensure you enjoy you holiday and deal with any problems that might occur.
Hawes is a traditional small market town in upper Wensleydale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, home of the famous (Wallace & Gromits) Wensleydale Cheese.
Hawes is on the famous Pennine Way and the Herriot Way. Visit the local livestock market and street market every Tuesday, enjoy long or short walks which meander around the surrounding fells and waterfalls. Travel the Settle to Carlisle Railway from Garsdale Station 6 miles away from Hawes.
Around Hawes there are a number of indoor attractions, The Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre, Ropemakers and The Dales Museum, and many fine antique and gift shops.
