Aysgarth

Aysgarth is most famous for its Falls - a picturesque range of shallow water falls on the river Ure, Wensleydale.

The walks along the river at Aysgarth are lovely and children paddle in the shallows and play with their fishing nets on fine, sunny Yorkshire days. It's a place where families come into the countryside to enjoy the natural beauty, and have fun.

Aysgarth is home to a museum of horsedrawn vehicles and has a 16th century bridge over the Ure.
